Tbilisi City Court will resume consideration of the case on June 4, 2015.
The NGO “Young Barristers” and the charitable organization “Traces of Kindness” cooperate since February 2015.
, Zaza Martiashcili, has ignored the best interests of the child, postponed the hearing for 2 months period, and thereby endangered juvenile Kakhuashvili’s rights and legal interests.
„Young Barristers“, to further clarify the topic, will address the Georgian Ministry of Education and Science. The organization hopes, that Premier-minister of Georgia will be directly interested in this case.
The organisers of the event are Georgian Parmaceutics Student Assosiation (GPSA), European Medical Student Assosiation in Tbilisi (EMSA – Tbilisi) and I. Tarkhnishvili Student Scientific Society.
The “Young Barristers” address future candidates of Tbilisi Mayoral Elections with an offer to create a committee of those dismissed on political grounds, stating that a proper investigation of the case is of the essence.
“Young Advocates” think that the state does nothing in the sphere of children’s right protection – for the purpose of changing the conditions of the most distinct social problem – so called “street children”.
